But what on earth is a B Corp?
The B Corp certification addresses the entirety of a business's operations and covers five key areas: Governance, Workers, Community, Environment and Customers.
As part of the process, Punchy has signed a legally binding agreement confirming that we will make decisions that put people and the planet before profit.
The results are in and we're overjoyed to confirm we have met the highest standards of social and environmental impact. Coming through the process with a score of 90.1.
There is so much more we can do to improve the business, and our impact on the planet, and we're hugely excited to continue to improve on this score over time.
So how did we do it?
We owe certification to a number of factors, from working with our suppliers to how we look after our employees, but a few key activities stand out.
The Great Oven
The Great Oven provides sustainable food relief and creative community building in places of need. From war torn countries to refugee camps. We donate 1% of our sales and our stock each year to the charity.
Easier on the Planet
We're working hard to reduce our carbon footprint by reviewing processes in our supply chain and also offsetting by purchasing credits in offset projects and by planting trees with Ecologi, our tree-planting partner.
Better for you
Punchy is low calorie, low sugar, vegan, all-natural and gluten-free. Making it a superior option to the bigger soft drinks brands that have come before us. So you can sip easy.
